We are open 24/7 for electrical emergencies. If you have an emergency, please call (305) 684-9404.
Why did my circuit blow a fuse or trip the breaker?
A blown fuse or tripped breaker may mean you have too much load on it. Check to see if an appliance is plugged into an outlet connected to that circuit, or any other device that might draw too much power like a space heater or microwave. If you continue to blow fuses or trip the breaker, contact us at (305) 684-9404 and we’ll send a professional right out to check.
Why does my smoke alarm keep chirping?
Smoke alarms chirp when they’re low on power. If your smoke alarm is battery operated you may need to replace it with a fresh 9-volt battery. If your smoke alarm is plugged into a circuit and is chirping, you may have a defective smoke alarm.
My house/business blacked out. What should I do?
If you’ve experienced a complete loss of power to your home or business, call your local power utility company. The problem may or may not be isolated to your area. In the Florida Keys, call Keys Energy at (305) 295-1000.
